Character Dance Instructor

Ariane is a Paris-born classical ballet and character dance teacher at Jiayin MasterClass, bringing European tradition, refined artistry, and over 25 years of international teaching experience to her work in Melbourne.

Formally trained from the age of eight, Ariane began her ballet education at l’Opéra de Paris, where she developed a strong foundation in classical ballet and character dance. Her training reflects the rich French ballet tradition, with an emphasis on musicality, style, and expressive movement.

Over the past 25 years, Ariane has taught classical ballet and folklore character dance to students from beginner through to advanced levels across France and Italy. In parallel with her teaching career, she choreographed for her own dance company, Baccara, and performed extensively throughout Europe, Canada, and South Korea as a professional classical ballet dancer.

Now based in Melbourne, Ariane continues to share her extensive international knowledge with Australian students.
