Angelbaby (Chenchen) Liu

Angelbaby (Chenchen) Liu brings a strong international background in communications, public relations, stakeholder engagement, and cross-cultural leadership to Jiayin MasterClass.
Her professional experience spans Australia and China, with work across public affairs, media relations, client engagement, institutional communication, and premium events. She completed a Master of Commerce at the University of Sydney on a merit-based full scholarship in 2012, whilst undertook exchange studies in finance and intercultural communication at Goethe University in 2012. Before graduation from Xi’an International Studies University, Angelbaby studied at Harvard University as a visiting scholar in 2010.
She became involved with the school in 2017, when it was still operating as JY Dance Academy, after being invited by Mr Jiayin Du to contribute as a strategic consultant for school development and branding. In the early stages of her involvement, she initiated student visiting programs from China to Australia in Jul-Aug. 2017 to Melbourne Academy of the Arts, and supported Mr Du’s masterclass tours in Huizhou, Xiamen, Jinan, and Osaka, helping expand the school’s international reach and profile.
From early 2018, Angelbaby played a key role in shaping the evolution of the academy into Jiayin MasterClass, helping refine it into a more clearly positioned, elite ballet training institution with a systematic curriculum and a stronger alignment with Mr Du’s artistic values, educational philosophy, and professional resources.
She has also held leadership and representative roles in Australia–China relations and community engagement, including as an inaugural delegate of the Australia China Youth Dialogue and Vice Chair of the Australia China Economics Trade and Culture Association (ACETCA). From 2012 to 2019, she participated in hundreds of bilateral relations major events across Australia China Economics Trade and Culture high-level exchanges, and worked closely with the NSW State Government in Sydney. During her time with the Australian Consulate-General in Guangzhou, she also contributed to authoring the commemorative book - Journey to the South: Australia’s 20 Years in South China (Published by Guangzhou Press House). Angelbaby had her column writing cover stories for Domain, BQ, Shanghai Business Review, and Australia China Business Circle.
At Jiayin MasterClass, Angelbaby plays a central role in strategic growth, communication, family engagement, event coordination, partnership liaison, and long-term student pathway planning, including engagement with YAGP, RAD, VET/VCE Dance, university admissions support, tailored student development, and broader institutional and corporate collaboration.
Together with Jiayin Du, she helped shape Jiayin MasterClass as a school defined by discipline, care, artistic integrity, and long-term purpose. Since 2017, Miss Angelbaby has witnessed a number of students' growth and development to better individuals from quality and tailored ballet training.
