We are delighted to announce that Jiayin MasterClass will present its first open ballet masterclass in New Zealand, to be held this April in Auckland.
This special workshop will focus on the Technique and Artistry of Classical Ballet in the Vaganova tradition, designed to help young dancers strengthen their technical foundation, musical awareness and artistic expression.
For students who are serious about classical ballet training, this masterclass offers a valuable opportunity to work closely with Jiayin Du, former artist of The Australian Ballet and former teacher of both the Australian Ballet School and the Academy of Queensland Ballet.
We warmly welcome dedicated young dancers who are eager to refine their technique and deepen their understanding of classical ballet.
Our sincere thanks to Elevate Youth Foundation and Mount Eden Ballet Academy for their kind invitation and support in bringing this masterclass to Auckland. We are very grateful for their collaboration in creating this opportunity for young dancers in New Zealand.

MasterClass with Yuan Yuan Tan
In February 2026, Melbourne hosted an exceptional MasterClass led by internationally acclaimed ballet artist and Artistic Director of Suzhou Ballet Theatre, Yuan Yuan Tan, formerly a Principal Dancer with the San Francisco Ballet. Dancers were given a rare opportunity to refine their technique and artistic expression under her expert guidance, gaining insight shaped by decades of world-class performance experience. The session was both rigorous and inspiring, offering participants an intimate look into the discipline, nuance, and artistry behind elite ballet training, and left a lasting impact on all who attended.
